Nature Gunung Leuser National Park is avery dense forest, typical of coastal forests, and tropical rainforests. In it there are rivers, lakes, hot springs, valleys, and waterfalls. Natural ecosystemsare very beautiful and diverse covering lowlands (coast) to the mountains. There are many endangered speciesare protected, such as a jungle cat, tiger, hornbills, orangutans, gibbons, snakes, butterflies, birds, elephants, rhinos, antelopes, deer andsambar. In addition, there are plants Strangler(fig) and other rare plants, such as giant flowers "Rhizanthes zippelnii" with a diameter of1.5 meters, raflesia flowers, and leaves a giant umbrella.

Gunung Leuser National Park is a national park covering 7.927 km ² in northern Sumatra, Indonesia, straddling the border of North Sumatra and Aceh provinces. [1] The national park, named after Mount Leuser (3.381 m), Protects a wide range of ecosystems. An orangutan sanctuary of Bukit Lawang is located inside the park. Together with Bukit Barisan Selatan and Kerinci Seblat national parks it forms a World Heritage Site, Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra.
